March Wrap-Up & Thoughts
Alright, so here's the scoop on my March reading... to be honest, it wasn't my best month when it came to devouring books. For the first two weeks, I was out of commission due to a pesky neck injury caused by none other than... you guessed it, excessive reading! I mean, who knew that reading too much could be hazardous to your health, right?
Anyways, I was forced to take a break and let my neck rest up for a bit. Thankfully, a coworker introduced me to these nifty little things called "lazy glasses," which are basically like prism glasses that let you see down to your lap while still physically looking straight ahead. And let me tell you, these things are a game changer! Although my husband may not have appreciated the fact that I looked like I was staring at him from across the room for hours on end, my neck was definitely grateful for the reprieve.
Now, I'm back in action and feeling better. Of course, I've learned my lesson and am making a conscious effort to maintain good posture while I read for hours on end. I mean, I can't let something as silly as a neck injury get in the way of my love for books, right?
Despite my "injury," I did manage to make my way through 4/8 of the Throne of Glass books this month. I don't want to get in too deep talking about these just yet but let's just say that I'm absolutely loving the series so far.
Fear not, my dear readers - I'll be providing a full recap and review once I've finished the entire series (which will hopefully be next month). So stay tuned!
