Exciting Indie Reads: Unearth Hidden Gems with Me

by Jessica Jones

I'm thrilled to share with you some exciting additions to my reading list: indie books from authors who deserve more attention. For those who might not be familiar, indie books are those published independently, outside the mainstream publishing industry. Supporting indie authors not only fuels diversity and creativity in literature but also gives voice to an array of unique perspectives.

I've always found indie books intriguing. The authors often take more creative risks, delve into unique narratives, and explore unconventional themes. Some of my favorite reads have been indie books, with their original voices echoing in my mind long after the last page.

But how do I select these hidden gems from the vast expanse of literature? I look for compelling plots, high recommendations, unique writing styles, and, of course, a gut feeling of falling in love at first sight (or, should I say, first read?). Most of my indie titles fall into my lap because authors have reached out through social media or my website, and were so kind to have provided me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Without further ado, let me introduce the indie books I'll be reading over the next month or so:

  1. A Divine Invite by Maggie Havoc

  2. The Aether Chronicles: Rebellium by AJ Wolfe

As I embark on each literary journey, I'll share my experiences and thoughts with you through my reviews. (No spoilers - I promise).

I invite all of you to join me in exploring these narratives. To conclude, let's remember that every book we read is a labor of love by the author. By choosing indie books, we help support a diverse literary ecosystem that thrives on creativity and authenticity.

Stay tuned for my next indie review, and don't forget to subscribe to get all the updates.
